925 Sterling Silver:

Sterling silver may tarnish or dull as a result of exposure to humidity. When possible, keep your silver in an air-tight container, anti-tarnish bag or cloth to limit exposure to air and moisture. To remove tarnish and keep your silver bright, gently rub the piece with a silver jewelry cleaning cloth. Rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and dry it carefully. More extensive tarnish can be removed with liquid silver cleaner. Please note: chlorine, bleach onion and eggs will accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.

14k Gold Filled:

While 14kt gold filled jewelry will not tarnish as quickly, it may get dirty. The oils from your skin and particles from your environment may transfer to the metal, causing it to lose its brightness. Gently wipe your gold filled piece with a jewelry polishing, non-scratch cloth every now and again to promote shine. Keep your gold filled jewelry as dry as possible and away from pesky humidity!

Store your jewelry in a clean, dry space:

It’s best to keep your jewelry in a fabric-lined case that has compartments and dividers for your jewelry. If you don’t have a jewelry case, make sure to wrap each piece of jewelry in a soft tissue or cloth bag before placing it in a drawer. This will prevent scratching and tangling.
